My friend and I decided to open a small "garage" car service. Our town is small, we can say that it is a distant suburb of Kyiv and there are a lot of people who drive to the capital to work by car. But prices in Kyiv workshops bite, but we can actively compete in this regard. Of course, we needed equipment. I already had something, because I have been repairing engines and chassis for more than a year, my partner brought something (he specializes in body work). And something like this large set of metalwork tools had to be bought. Of course, it costs a lot, but its versatility and the presence of rather rare and sometimes very necessary tools outweigh this amount. A very good assortment of tools, as many as 145 units. Some of them are hard to buy separately. Fine set of sockets from 4 to 32 mm (half-inch and quarter-inch). Two handy wrenches with a ratchet mechanism and locks, extension cords (including flexible ones), an excellent set of bits and a screwdriver for them with a ratchet fastening. There is a good selection of combined open end spanners. There is a set of punches, a center punch, a tool for stripping and installing an electrical wire, candle heads, pliers, adjustable pliers and much more. Chrome-vanadium steel hardened. I liked the cool case that this set comes in. It is made of dense impact-resistant plastic, has reliable aluminium locks and aluminium reinforcement of the corners. After a week of use, I knocked down to the metal a whole piece of plastic coating on the ratchet handle, somehow it held weakly. The price is rather high, but such sets of branded instruments cost 2-2.5 times more. |
