In the spring of 2023, the Chinese brand Xiaomi announced a fresh update to its Mi Pad 6 line of premium tablets. To expand the reach of potential users, the company introduced several variations of the tablet, among which the most notable was the regular Mi Pad 6 with an 11-inch screen, the upgraded Xiaomi Pad 6 Max with a 14-inch screen and the top-end Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro with a 12-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and Wi-Fi 7 support.

All modifications of Mi Pad 6 are made according to similar principles, differing only in details. In all cases, the user will find a high-quality IPS panel with an increased refresh rate (120 – 144 Hz), excellent color reproduction, a large brightness reserve, support for HDR10/Dolby Vision and a Gorilla Glass protective screen. As for the filling of the Mi Pad 6 tablets, it is more or less the same as the latest flagship smartphones from Xiaomi. As a rule, this is a flagship Snapdragon processor, 6–12 GB of RAM and internal storage ranging from 128 to 512 GB. Lower versions of Mi Pad tablets use LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 memory, while older versions use LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0. However, there are no slots for memory cards.

The list of advantages of the Mi Pad 6 tablets includes a single or dual Full HD camera with the ability to record video in 4K, a capacious battery with fast charging, excellent stereo speakers (4, 6 or 8 pieces) with Dolby Atmos support, an NFC chip, stylus support and ultra-thin case thickness 6 - 7 mm. Plus, tablets in this series provide solid battery life.
